The Performance Loop · How It Works

One cycle a month. Keyed to your books closing.

The loop runs on your close, not on a consultant's calendar. Here's what a month looks like once it's installed — and the standard we hold ourselves to: review held within 9 business days of your books closing, every cycle.

Day 3–5

1Close lands

Your bookkeeper closes the month; the data comes to us. Nothing changes about who does your accounting — we sit above it.

Day 5–7

2Analyze

Variance traced to drivers and causes — not anecdotes, not culprits. Drafted, reviewed, and signed by a named senior operator.

Day 7

3Reforecast

The rolling outlook refreshed honestly; every revised assumption named. A forecast is not a target — we keep them separate on purpose.

By day 9

4Review

The facilitated performance conversation with your leadership team (FP&A+ and up): what moved, why, and what we're doing about it.

Day 10+

5Act & track

Decisions logged, actions owned and aged — nothing re-explained twice. Then the next close lands, and the loop runs again.

What changes by tier

The cycle above is the same spine at every tier. What changes is who's in the room, and how often the loop turns.

FP&A$2,500/mo

The full monthly cycle, delivered as signed work product. The review is one working session with you — you run your own team meetings, and we arm you. No software surface at this tier.

FP&A+$4,500/mo

Same cycle, run for you. The day-9 review is facilitated with your whole leadership team, and between meetings the live, interactive view of your drivers, gaps, and outlook stays current — two meetings a month.

FP&A + Behavior Support$6,500/mo · by qualification

The same monthly cycle — plus a weekly beat inside it. Each week a behavior memo says what should change, in which process, by whom, and we work beside the team to execute or adjust it.

Getting started

Getting started takes about three weeks, not months. We build the driver view of your business first — from a working session with you plus industry benchmarks — so the first insights arrive before perfect data does. Estimates are enough to find the biggest gaps; precision follows.

A free 45-minute working session — we identify and price the top 2–3 gaps between how the business runs and how it could run. No fee, no commitment, no prep required.
